Many online converters send your file to a server, process it there and send it back. These tools work differently. The processing code downloads to your browser with the page, and your PDFs and images are handled on your own phone or computer. Nothing you open here is uploaded, which matters when the file is an ID card, a payslip, a signed form or a medical report.
